MID-CENTURY MODERN WALNUT SIDEBOARD/CREDENZA
Waterfall continuous grain on sides and top, cut from a single timber
The side board / credenza can be used to store serving items and linens in a dining room or can be used in an office setting to store business materials.
The sideboard credenza features a book matched case and hand-cut dovetails on all four corners of the casework. It is designed and built in the style of mid-century modern with clean lines and exposed joinery. It is influenced by George Nakashima's work in the use of walnut with some sapwood showing and the use of book-matching the timbers. The detailed image below shows a mirror image on the sides and doors. The left side, top, and right side are from a single long timber for a continuous grain pattern that wraps the piece. Each door is also formed with a book matched panel and has mirror images. Each door slides on wooden runners and the doors can be easily removed for cleaning. Inside the piece, there is an adjustable shelf. Pairs well with the Waterfall Side Table
