CABINETS SIDEBOARDS AND CREDENZAS
I build these handmade credenzas, and sideboards in my CT workshop. All of the casework dimensions and wood species below are from current or previous client projects. The design elements, dimensions, wood species, and finishes can be modified to fit your home’s design and your personal tastes. You can also come to me with some new requirements and we can collaborate on a design and the best timber species and dimensions before the build starts. MID CENTURY MODERN Waterfall SIDEBOARD / CREDENZA
The mid-century modern sideboard/credenza suits dining rooms, offices, studies, or bedrooms. It features a waterfall grain wrapping the sides and continuous grain across doors and drawers. Two door banks run on solid wood rails over shelving; the center has four drawers with various pull options. Low-profile (no outward-swinging doors) fits behind a couch or near a table. Used for place settings, bar service, trays, cutlery, and plates; doors remove easily for cleaning. Finished with 4 coats of hand-rubbed varnish.

NAKASHIMA INSPIRED SIDEBOARD / CREDENZA
Nakashima-style sideboard or credenza for dining room, office, study, or bedroom. Book‑matched case grain flows across left, top, and right for a continuous pattern. Case corners joined with hand-cut through dovetails. Each door has a book‑matched panel and slides on wooden runners; doors lift out for cleaning. Finished with four coats of varnish and paste wax. Door sizes and placement can be customized. Pairs well with the Waterfall Side Table.

Cherry & Gloss Black SIDEBOARD
The sideboard mixes Mid Century Modern design esthetics with some more modern elements. The solid cherry top, glossy black front, sides, and legs are a beautiful contrast to the solid cherry slatted doors. The legs have solid brass ends with unique set of internal threads, so they can be adjusted to uneven floors without using cheap leveling feet. The doors slide on wooden tracks and can be easily removed for cleaning the interior. The back is constructed of shiplapped slats to allow for seasonal movement
